instruct this high-demand workshop, which sold out last Fall.  <br>

 w:st="on"></st1:address></st1:Street>This fun and informative two-day
workshop will instruct<st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">
course participants to learn PV basics and make their own small battery
chargers to take home.  <br>
The first day will include explanations covering how PV cells work,
plus new developments in PV.  The second day, participants will build
small battery chargers to take home. <br>
</st1:address></st1:Street>Workshop includes snacks and lunch.  There
is an option to make a cell phone charger for an added fee.<br>

Komp has over 50 years experience with solar and PV. He invented
several solar devices, authored books including "Practical
Photovoltaics" and published numerous articles on solar technology. Dr.
Komp is involved with several solar organizations and currently travels
the world giving workshops on solar/PV technologies and applications.  <br>

little energy to keep them comfortable year round, and that produce
more energy than they use.<br>

this two-day tour event, see how some of your neighbors are using
design features that encourage health and well-being, and learn ways

programs, Green Schools, and electric vehicles.<br>
