</b></font>For the 22nd year, the City of Socorro, NM and the Bosque
del Apache NWR will celebrate the return of the cranes with this
popular and acclaimed Festival. Registration for the November 17-22.

NMSEA recently endorsed a letter (below) addressed to Senators Udall and Bingaman asking for strong climate and energy legislation to be passed this year. This effort was spearheaded by a local renewable energy business entrepreneur in <st1:City
 w:st="on">Santa Fe</st1:City> in response to a request by Senator Udall's office that it would help his efforts in <st1:City
 w:st="on">Washington</st1:City>, <st1:State w:st="on">D.C.</st1:State> to have a strong show of support from <st1:State
 w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">New Mexico</st1:place></st1:State>'s business community.<span
 style="">  </span>We need as much support as possible to push for legislation that will spearhead investments in renewable energy and green job creation, putting <st1:State
 w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">New Mexico</st1:place></st1:State> on the path to a long-term, sustainable energy and economic future.
