*Oct 29: **Super Storm Sandy Anniversary Vigilat the ABQ Zoo -
/Albuquerque, NM/*
6:30pm at Abq BioPark Zoo's entrance, 903 10th SW, Abq NM 87102

Join the Abq Climate Coalition for the1st Anniversary of Superstorm
Sandy candlelight vigil to remember the victims of extreme weather.

This is an Organizing for Action (OFA) nationwide day of action. Ours
will be one of dozens of events around the country to mark the impact of
extreme weather from climate change. We chose the Abq Zoo because it was
a local site of major damage (downed trees) from the July 26th extreme
storm that brought us 89mph winds. The Zoo is also iconic of biological
diversity and we will have the NM state representative from Defenders of
Wildlife speak about the threat of species extinction caused by global
warming.

OFA intends to make Oct 29th a major yearly anniversary in the fight
against climate change -- please join us to mark year one.
See the event invite on FB <http://on.fb.me/1ai9nyt> to RSVP or for more
info.
