**SunPaper Deadline: *Ads, Articles, Notices- April 1st
*

New advertising, articles, and event notices are due by April 1 for the 
May/June Solar Fiesta Guide. Send all directly to the editor, Ron 
Herman, at rhermansolar at aol.com <mailto:rhermansolar at aol.com> or call 
292-4375. Preference is given to articles on solar energy topics (PV, 
passive, technology, performance histories, incentives, cost benefits, 
etc.), but we will also consider other renewable energy subjects as 
space allows.

*Solar Fiesta Advertising Packages: Six issues of the SunPaper, 
including the Fiesta Guide*

All advertising in the print version is in black and white, but color 
will show on our website version. Photos and graphics must have a 
resolution of at least 250 dpi in JPEG, TIF, or PDF format. Text-only 
ads may be provided in MS Word format. Printed circulation is typically 
400 copies. Size requirements and prices for individual ads are as follows:

_**********March 21: *"Next Generation Biofuels" with Dr. Sayre***–/Los 
Alamos, NM/******/

Dr. Richard Sayrewill present, "Next Generation Biofuels: Potential for 
Enhanced Energy Efficiency and Sustainability" tonight at the Pajarito 
Environmental Education Center. Dr. Sayre is a leading researcher in 
algae and plant cell metabolism, and Director of the Biofuels project at 
the New Mexico Consortium, an organization working in conjunction with 
Los Alamos National Laboratory. Sayre is a former member of the Donald 
Danforth Plant Science Center (DDPSC) where he served as the Director of 
the Enterprise Rent-A-Car (ERAC) Institute for Renewable Fuels 
(2008-2011). He was Director of the BioCassava Plus Program funded by 
the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation from 2005-2010; and from 
2009-2011, he was the Director of the Center for Advanced Biofuel 
Systems a DOE Energy Frontier Research Center. Dr. Sayre is currently 
the Chief Technology Officer for Phycal, a start-up biotechnology 
company developing microalgal-based biofuel production systems; and was 
formerly Chair of the Department of Plant Cellular and Molecular Biology 
at the Ohio State University. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the 
University of Sao Paulo, Brazil during the spring of 2007 and was 
elected a Fellow of AAAS in 2011. Sayre received his Ph.D. from the 
University of Iowa and did post-doctoral work at Harvard University.

Jean Arya, Technical Support for local solar racking manufacturer, 
Unirac. She will share with us some good installation practices and some 
horror stories. Monthly Chapter Meetingsare FREE & open to the public.
