***May 5: Zero Net Energy Cost Home Premiere ***/--/**//*/Santa Fe, NM/***
1-4pm at 711 Don Cubero Alley

Mariel Nanasi, Executive Director of New Energy Economy, is hosting a
Premiere and Open House for the first net Zero Energy Cost home in Santa
Fe's Historic District! As Mariel says, "Energy efficient homes are one
of the most secure investments. They are a hedge against rising utility
bills from dirty coal-fired electricity. You can love your home and know
that it is powered by clean energy that isn't harming the planet."

Have your questions answered, find out how you can get yourself into a
next generation energy efficient home in Santa Fe and learn how your
neighbor in the Historic District made the transition. Using new
technology, it's now possible to build a home with annual utility bills
of almost zero. Programs such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design) provide ways to build a certified
energy-efficient, safe and healthy home for about the price of a
conventional home. Innovations such as a heat recovery ventilator, super
efficient appliances and lighting, and solar panels that have rapidly
dropped in price make these hard-to-believe claims a reality. Come talk
to professionals who've done this and find out how you can benefit along
with the planet.

See you there!
