Dan Duffield has lived with an off-grid system in one form or another since 1993. He completed the Appropriate Technology Associates PV Design course in Carbondale, Colo. in 1989 (now S.E.I.). He has an E.E. degree from the Univ. of Missouri, Columbia and an A.A.S. degree in Carpentry & Welding. He participated in the 1993/1995 national collegiate PV solar electric car race, SunRayce. He is the qualified party for Direct Power & Water Corp. where he has been employed for 10 yrs. He has manufacturer authorization and training to service Trace/Xantrex inverters and Mitsubishi commercial Uninterruptible Power Supplies.
