Net Load Coefficient (NLC):

NLC = Heat Lost per day per degree fahrenheit

A_p = Projected area of the solar gain:

Q_aux = DD NLC (1 - SSF)

Load Collector Ratio (LCR):

LCR = NLC / A_p

• Depends only the building design, not location

Correlate LCR and SSF:

• Correlation does depend on location
• Can be done using SLR, summing over the whole year
• Errors tend to average out
